In our Academy, music brings our community together through whole school singing, year group instrument playing, experimental creation and performance. It promotes the love of listening to each other's performances. The joy of music strengthens our bonds of friendship and love.

We have access to Sing Up to support non-specialists in delivering sessions that are well sequenced, progressive and high quality. More confident staff have the flexibility to adapt sessions to enable them to fully utilise their skills.

Utilising support from the Lincolnshire Music Education Hub, we include whole-class ensemble teaching as an integral aspect to our music curriculum. This provision begins in LKS2 and children learn to play the ukulele. Supported by a trained member of staff, the children have the opportunity to practice and refine their technical and expressive skills throughout KS2.
